Obesity Equates with Cruel & Unusual Punishment ?

An interesting article here regarding the case of a convicted murderer whose attorneys attempted to argue that he was too obese to receive the lethal injection of that state without it constituting cruel & unusual punishment. I don’t buy it.
Warning the double murder he co-committed is absolutely sickening.
Essentially, if the Court were to allow this type of argument, prisoners would have a perverse incentive to gain massive amounts of weight in the hopes of topping the scale too overweight to face execution, effectively circumventing the purpose of having a death penalty in the first place.
